Easy Autumn styling

Easy Autumn styling

Autumn is the perfect time to go outdoors for some long walks, it’s also easy to find lots of great free bits and pieces to bring back indoors! Think Horse Chestnuts, leaves, branches, Acorns, dried seed heads and pinecones!
It’s simple to put together some autumnal outdoor bits and pieces together to create a warm and cosy feel.
I’ve recently been given a large box of  Walnuts from a neighbors tree, I simply popped them in a bowl, of course you could use anything you have to hand, Horse Chestnuts, Acorns or a mixture of a few.  Dried seed and flower heads look great in a vase too.
Another great Autumn styling is the Pumpkin, obviously there is always a place for the large scarily carved ones for Halloween! Don’t forget the small gourds that are  in the supermarket right now are brilliant for bringing some autumnal interest to your space. Mix up the colours and sizes and pop them in a bowl either on their own or with a few other bits, for example I have included a vase filler bag to add greenery and wicker balls for texture.

These bowls look great on a table or you could put one on a tray. I added a large jar of Pinecones and a couple of candles for a cosy feel.
